Reading the Dead puts you in the position of primary investigator in a series of sadistic murders. As former FBI agent Sarah Carter, you set out to catch the perpetrator of these brutal crimes and on the way discover you have a psychic link with his victims. Finding yourself unexpectedly gifted with the ability to relive the victims' final moments, you must use all your investigative expertise to bring their murderer to justice. While this plot line is really interesting and is offered up in a surprisingly gritty and mature way, the game as a whole fails due to an abrupt and unsatisfactory end. |

According to Valve CEO Gabe Newell as reported in Forbes, Valve is more profitable than Google and Apple per employee. Since Google generates $350,000 per employee and Valve has 250 employees, that would mean that Valve generates at least $87.5 million in profit yearly. It’s an interesting number, given that Valve specializes in the PC games market, which supposedly is dead compared to social and iOS games, according to the experts. |

It’s a pretty lofty claim (and a totally false one, since I can’t use OpenFeint on my toaster), but the folks behind OpenFeint have just announced that their latest initiative will allow for social gaming on any device you can think of – and we’re not just talking handhelds anymore. |
