When Kinectimals debuted on the Xbox 360’s newly minted Kinect motion sensor, it instantly tugged at your heartstrings. One thing that we humans cannot resist is cute, cuddly young animals, and Kinectimals delivered it in spades on your TV screen—and now you can get a similar experience on iOS for a fraction of the investment price. While the game is short on variety, it’s filled to the brim with different variations on mini-games and is sure to please its target market that is starved for all things adorable. |

You may not have heard of Picomy before now, but I've got a sneaking suspicion that word is going to spread about the new indie studio soon. The company has just revealed its first trailer for Heroki, a new family-friendly fantasy adventure that looks utterly enchanting. |

The Defense of the Ancients mod for Warcraft III has provided the inspiration for some great games over the past few years. Titles like League of Legends and Heroes of Newerth have managed to delight computer gamers, but a mobile version of the mod has been noticeably absent. That's all about to change, though, thanks to Maya Games' upcoming Legendary Heroes. |

Facebook has emerged as an excellent source of soccer management games thanks to titles like FIFA Superstars and Top Eleven. 11x11 attempts to nudge its way into this crowded space by offering a more approachable and visual take on the genre. For the most part it works, as the game combines a great presentation with management gameplay that’s not particularly complex, to make for an appealing all around package. However, a few niggling issues and the absence of a few key features make this an experience with room to improve. |

Yet another card game is making its way to Facebook with a new release from social developer MegaZebra. Solitaire Castle is the latest addition to the company’s gaming collection and like many of the more recent card-based titles before it, centers itself around solitaire. Moving away from traditional solitaire, it is more reminiscent of both spider solitaire and web versions of mahjong. Puzzle-centric, the game is entertaining for those that enjoy such apps, but other than offering new puzzles, it brings nothing particularly impressive to the genre. |

Finland-based Housemarque has a history of some pretty solid games, including recent DLC hits like Dead Nation and Outland. However, the developer is about to boldly venture where it's never gone before: iOS devices. The company's new game, Furmins, looks like it's going to be a genuinely challenging physics-based puzzle platformer that also looks to be a ton of fun. |

If you’re a fan of our Game of the Month segments, there’s a pretty good chance that you went crazy for our coverage in December. All last month we posted list after list of the best games that 2011 had to offer – so much so that we almost forgot about all of the great games that came out at the end of the year! Don’t worry though – it may be a little late, but Gamezebo’s look back at the top games of December 2011 was well worth the wait! |
