Bingo Heaven Review (Android)

12th of January 2012
Gamezebo Rating: 80

Bingo Heaven is deceptive. I dismissed it almost immediately as simple and dull during my first playthrough, but by the time I had ten rounds under my belt I was reading the numbers out loud, jabbing my thumb at the screen and getting far more entertainment out of it than I ever would have expected from a silly little Bingo game.

Pulitzer Prize winner working on socially conscious social game (Online)

12th of January 2012

Nicholas Kristof, a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and coulmnist for the New York Times, is working on a social game aimed at raising both awareness and funds of various global issues.

Candy Dash Review (Facebook)

12th of January 2012
Gamezebo Rating: 90

Candy: it’s usually not healthy for you, but it sure does taste good going down. Fortunately, publisher Vostu’s latest Facebook offering isn’t bad for your teeth, nor is its sugary sweet premise too much to stomach. Candy Dash takes a page from the Bust-a-Move recipe book and adds lots and lots of sweetness.

Charadium II Review (iPhone, iPad)

12th of January 2012
Gamezebo Rating: 80

The popular iOS picture-guessing game of Charadium has received a shiny new coat of paint and has been updated and transformed into Charadium II. Containing all the same elements that made the original enjoyable, the multiplayer application of crudely drawn concoctions and random guesses now comes with a handful of new drawing tools and features to play with. That said, the title also comes with much of the same quandaries of its predecessor as well.

Shadowgun: Deadzone Preview (iPhone, iPad, Android)

12th of January 2012

Say what you want about Madfinger Games' Shadowgun - the title was wickedly over-the-top and was one of the best-looking titles to hit mobile devices in recent memory. Now, Madfinger has revealed that it's working on a follow-up called Shadowgun: Deadzone, which is going to let you share the crazy shooter fun with your friends.

Raid Leader Preview (iPhone, iPad, Android)

12th of January 2012

I know it’s not new, but I’m still in awe of the size and scope of mobile games that are getting pumped-out these days. One of the leading publishers of iOS games looks to have another winner on the horizon. Crescent Moon Games has quickly developed a nice reputation among mobile gaming fans looking for a quality experience on the go, and now they’re teaming up with first-time developer Red Zebra Games to soon unleash Raid Leader. Their debut takes inspiration from today’s MMO’s promising epic boss battles and hours of content.

Sweet Shop Preview (iPhone, iPad)

12th of January 2012

I always wanted to own a candy store when I was kid. Honestly, it's probably for the best that that particular dream could never come true, because I would've wound up becoming way more of a butterball than I was back in those days. However, Breaktime Studios is offering mobile gamers a chance to live out this fantasy from the comfort of their iPhones thanks to theur upcoming simulation title Sweet Shop.

Temple Run Review (iPhone, iPad)

11th of January 2012
Gamezebo Rating: 100

The sign of a very good game is one that makes you say “just one more”. The most addictive games in the industry all had this going for them: How many times have you said you would play just one more game of Modern Warfare? Civilization? Complete just one more quest in World of Warcraft? Temple Run might not have the deep gameplay appeal of those video game classics, but it has their addictive qualities in spades.

Nyrthos: The First Chapter Preview (PC, iPhone, iPad, Android, Online)

11th of January 2012

Nyrthos is an action-role playing game inspired by the likes of Diablo and Gothic, but while it might contain many of the usual RPG trappings (dozens of enemies and bosses, spells, loot, and a vast world to explore), the developers want you to think of it as more than that, too.

WeTopia Review (Facebook)

11th of January 2012
Gamezebo Rating: 70

WeTopia is the latest city-builder to hit Facebook, and its cartoony, quasi-3D art style is bringing with it all the standards players have come to know as well as a little bit of charity. Tying play into donations to non-profit organizations aiding children in both Haiti and the United States, the game is nothing terribly original from a design perspective, but at the very least, it is for a good cause
