Zombie Wonderland 2: Outta Time! Review (iPhone, iPad)

15th of January 2012
Gamezebo Rating: 60

Being the savior of humanity and the man who's willing to make a last stand against hordes of monsters is a lonely, hard job. It's not fun and games. No, wait, change that: It's totally fun and games, at least according to Chillingo's new defense/RTS title Zombie Wonderland 2: Outta Time! In fact, the game manages to prove that when it comes to fighting the things that go bump in the night, sometimes all you need to have a good time is a couple of barrels of buckshot and some ingenuity.

ZDAY Survival Simulator Review (iPhone, iPad)

14th of January 2012
Gamezebo Rating: 80

“Man, if I were in the middle of a zombie apocalypse I’d definitely survive. The secret is just to do....” We’ve all had the conversations, either amongst nerds or in our own heads of how we’d traverse the suddenly deadly world filled with zombies. You’d grab certain supplies, hit the road, avoid the cities and keep quiet. It all sounds so easy when you’re not throwing obstacles in your path. ZDay Survival Simulator doesn’t play so nice. Think you can survive when all of your choices sound like they could potentially go bad, and survival seems just out of reach?

Jewel Quest: The Sapphire Dragon Review (PC)

14th of January 2012
Gamezebo Rating: 70

Jewel Quest is one of the most established franchises in the match-three world, but over the years, competition from newer, flashier titles began to overshadow its name. The franchise is still kicking however, with the newest installment, Jewel Quest: The Sapphire Dragon, containing a wide variety of level types and a lengthy storyline that sees you helping a group of adventurers fight pirates and discover lost treasures.

Maya Whiz Review (Facebook)

13th of January 2012
Gamezebo Rating: 80

If you're worried that the ancient Mayans have already made a muck of 2012 by insinuating that the world will end on the winter solstice, then you might enjoy knowing that they've focused on happier themes in this new puzzle game by GameDuell. In Maya Whiz, the mathematically adept Mesoamericans are less concerned with making doomsday calendars than with outdoing each other with simple sums in speed matches. It's not without its stumbles, but Maya Whiz's combination of thought-provoking gameplay and Bejeweled Blitz-style mechanics allow for a unique twist on a familiar format that should satisfy many newcomers.

Parallel Kingdom Review (Facebook)

13th of January 2012
Gamezebo Rating: 20

It’s good to be different from the pack, and that’s especially true on Facebook. However, the difference that makes Parallel Kingdom stand out is far from positive. A sort of “location-based” role playing game, the title feels more lazy than innovative, offering nothing significant other than a gimmick that does nothing but provide novelty.
